Introducing: SprayCheck® Nozzle Validation (NV) for PulsaJet® Automatic Spray Nozzles
Our new patent-pending SprayCheck Nozzle Monitoring System evaluates every spray from our PulsaJet nozzles.VERIFICATION OF EACH AND EVERY SPRAY IN DEMANDING APPLICATIONS
In critical coating operations, milliseconds matter when it comes to quality. A single missed spray in operations like stamping, forming, moisturizing or applying antimicrobials can have costly consequences such as quality problems that cause rework or scrap, downtime or damage to downstream equipment.
Our new patent-pending SprayCheck Nozzle Monitoring System evaluates every spray from our PulsaJet nozzles. Errors that disrupt spray formation or control are reported nearly instantaneously to the system PLC for troubleshooting. Continual monitoring of the nozzles enables users to find failures quickly and take quick corrective action such as rejecting an improperly coated product, scheduling maintenance or even automatically shutting down the system.
HOW IT WORKS
- The sensor measures the magnetic pull of the solenoid and pressure at the spray tip
- Nozzles are connected to a Spray Monitoring Unit (SMU)
- Errors are reported if any of the following are detected: loss of spray pressure, non-actuation of solenoid, tip clog, valve and nozzle wear or performance degradation
- The monitoring unit provides error feedback to system PLC, warning lights are displayed when error is detected.
SprayCheck NV, is an enhancement that will quickly pay for itself in automated operations where quality control and uptime are critical. SprayCheck NV can be used with any AutoJet® spray controller. Each monitoring unit controls up to eight PulsaJet-03 nozzles. Existing PulsaJet-03 nozzles with dovetail connections can be retrofitted with sensors.
