BALL MILL COOLING SYSTEM

When cement clinkers are ground inside a ball mill, a significant amount of friction between balls is converted into heat, which can negatively impact clinker properties and complicate further processing.

Spraying Systems Co.®
offers a self-regulating atomizing spray system that accurately injects the necessary amount of water into the second chamber to maintain the desired temperature in the ball mill. Our system, equipped with FloMax® nozzles and high-quality regulation equipment, reliably prevents overheating and ensures the clinkers in the ball mill remain intact.

Complete System

Our complete self-regulating atomizing spray system accurately injects the necessary amount of water in the second chamber to maintain the desired temperature. The system features a lance with a FloMax® nozzle, a skid equipped with high-quality regulation equipment, one or double pump, PLC, and flowmeter. This is the perfect reliable combination to fulfil this task.

FloMax® nozzles

Our state-of-the-art air atomizing FloMax® nozzles are perfectly designed for precise and efficient spraying in the ball mill. These nozzles combined with the closed-loop temperature control, results in a constant outlet temperature, so overheating cannot take place and the clinkers on the inside stay intact.

Lance

To spray the water into the second chamber of the cement mill, we push the lance with a FloMax® nozzle to the center of the ball mill.
